General Submission Guideline
Submissions must come from BIPOC people, creatives, artist, or storytellers of all kinds. Charcoal Connect submissions can be in relation to an art form or practice, hobbies or projects, or stories of general livelihoods to be considered. This includes fashion, music, dance, art, lifestyle, subcultures, live experiences, reflective narratives, poetry, and more.

Charcoal Connect is Charcoal Magazine's online blog publication for freelance BIPOC writers, creatives, and storytellers of all kind to submit towards. Use our platform to tell your stories on your terms. Please fill out the form below and we will be in contact with you.
Anonymous submissions are accepted.
Submit all images in JPEG or PNG format; submit written submissions as Google Doc/Word files.
Submissions are reviewed every 2-7 business days. We will contact you if we are publishing your submission and provide further details.
