State of Mind
Grief.
A natural response they say, though it feels so odd
One morning you wake up and life feels normal, the next numb and static.
An odd psychological sensation that ebbs and flows
Limbo.
Time.
The only real medicine
Ain’t no Tylenol or other painkiller that cures this one.
Patience is a virtue they say, but
I need this pain to dissipate.
Heavy
Love.
Abstract yet concrete: tricky and simple
This one heals too.
Heals and reveals
Grief.
Mirror.
Not a direct reflection, but
A double-edged sword.
Time a fluxion of both
Glass.
