In this Artist Spotlight, I sat down with Fré Bayuh, a Sophomore at BU and an aspiring poet and writer. We spoke about a piece she wrote for Charcoal magazine called, State of Mind. We go into depth about her upbringing as an Ethiopian-American, her love and passion for poetry and what message she hopes to send out by publishing this poem.
